CPDs are the heart of Project ADHUNA, where healthcare providers are equipped with the latest knowledge and tools to ensure every delivery is safe and every newborn has a better start.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is not just another training program—it’s a catalyst for transformation in maternal and neonatal health. Designed specifically for medical practitioners and paramedics involved in pregnancy care, it enables improvement through training of providers, bringing in best practices and innovation, while leveraging FOGSI societies to advocate for women’s health.
CPDs are conducted in every district that ADHUNA works in – 29 districts in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Bihar.
What Makes ADHUNA’s CPD Model Unique?
Introducing the P for prevention in the E-MOTIVE approach, a breakthrough in managing Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) with a structured and proactive care model.
Building foundational practices for better and respectful outcomes, with a strong focus on patient safety, system efficiency, and service quality.
Reinforcing dignity and compassion during labor, ensuring women feel empowered, supported, and respected throughout childbirth.
Revolutionizing anemia management during pregnancy with faster, safer, and more effective intravenous iron therapy.
Delivered by experts from Global Health Strategies (GHS), this module equips participants to engage patients effectively through social media and influence positive health behavior.
Project ADHUNA’s CPD strategy is designed to be phased and scalable, enabling sustained learning and real-world practice change. Here’s how it’s being implemented:
